Hi everyone and welcome! Here’s a bit about me in hopes that you’ll feel like we know each other a bit better. I am a school-based speech-language pathologist, wife, mother, and a lifelong resident of southeast Kentucky. I live on a farm surrounded by a various array of livestock that do not belong to me, but get the pleasure of enjoying. I have always loved writing and have recently discovered how to actually put my passion to good use.
My personal goal for this blog is to give parents/caregivers the information, tools, and resources so they can improve their child’s speech and language skills through activities at home.
So folks, whether you are a parent or caregiver learning about to help your child’s speech and language skills, a fellow speech-language pathologist, or a curious reader, I hope we find ourselves relating to and learning from each other as we go through this journey.
